Washington, DC Winter 25-26 Team Registration

The Winter 25-26 Program is now available for registration and is accepting team deposits for the upcoming season. All teams in HNA now register via the team payment format. In the Washington, DC area, Hockey North America skates in Montgomery County, Maryland at the Rockville, Cabin John and Wheaton Ice Arenas. It's HNA's 46th season in the DC area!

Registering via the team fee format allows the team to carry as many as 22 skaters, enabling you to spread the cost to play out, as well as keep a full bench if you have teammates that travel regularly or simply can't make all the games. Note that each team member still needs to have a team jersey with a unique number. Be sure to read below for the full program description, as well as a link to the HNA Rules & Policy Guide.

- The Price for Hockey North America in 25-26 will be a team fee of $11,995 spread out over 5 payments.

- The 25-26 season will be a 20 game regular season. For those teams that qualify there will be a double elimination playoff round. In addition, qualifying playoff teams will advance to the Hockey North America League Championships July, 2026.

- There are no extra fees or interest charged for timely installment payments. There are no extra player registration fees for players that complete the individual registration process by October 30th.

- To Register your team, make your payment using the available payment button below.

For all team members: Each team member will need to complete the registration process, which includes completing a waiver. All rostered members of each team must complete this quick/easy (and prior to October 30th - free) process. Captains - be sure to instruct your team members to complete the registration process prior to your first game. Note that new players to the team must still participate & be approved to play with the team at an upcoming evaluation date (dates to be po4sted in the "notices" section). Individuals may sign up by going to hna.com / menu / registration / scroll to Washington, DC Winter 25-26. For first time users, create an account (very easy to do) then return to the registration page and register. Registrations prior to October 30th are at no cost. After October 30th a small fee will apply. Once complete the player will receive, via email, a program description, along with a copy of the player waiver.

Welcome to 2025-2026 Winter Hockey - HNA's 46th Season!

- Game Format: 3 x 15 Minute Stop Time Periods
- 5 Minute OT played in tie games, time permitting.
- Double Elimination Playoffs for the teams that qualify
- Detailed Stat Tracking & Regular Website Updates
- Individual & Team Awards to winning teams.
- Qualifying playoff teams advance to the HNA Finals, July 2026.
- Arenas for Games Are: Rockville, Wheaton & Cabin John. There are no Friday games. Games are primarily Sunday, Monday & Wednesdays.
- Season is expected to get underway in early October.

- Optional Holiday Tournament will take place at Rockville Ice Arena the week of December 28-30.

A team roster must be submitted prior to schedule generation. Any subsequent roster changes must receive prior approval by the League Administrator. All skaters must have a unique number attached to their team jersey. All skating players must have a team jersey, which is the same jersey as other team members, with team logo & a unique number attached.

A HECC or CSA approved ice hockey helmet is required of all skaters. Each skater must wear at least a 1/2 shield / visor facial protection. No exceptions. All players & goaltenders must use protective equipment designed specifically for ice hockey. Note: Late payments may be subject to a 10% penalty. Please keep your team account current.

Hockey North America is a no checking / no fighting league that emphasizes safety and parity for adults players over 21 years of age. The full playing rules & League policies are available in the "downloads" section of hna.com.

Teams must maintain a current payment account to be eligible for scheduled games or playoffs. Please be sure to keep your account current to avoid any late fees.
